Adding a User

Overview

As the Client Admin, you manage the users and OLI software permissions for your organization. You can add new users to the system by following the instructions in this article. 

1. Select User Roles from the sidebar

After logging in to AppManager with your OLI credentials, click on “User Roles” from the left-hand sidebar.

2. Select the contract you wish to modify

If you have multiple active contracts with OLI, you may see multiple options in the Contract List. Select the one you want to modify.

3. Click Add User(s)

After selecting the correct contract, click the “Add User(s)” button on the upper right. 

4. Enter the required information

A pop-up window will appear prompting you to enter the new user’s details.

Fill in the required information:

  • First Name: The user’s first name
  • Last Name: The user's last name
  • Email: The user’s work email address.
  • Phone Number (optional): The phone number of the user to assist in support.

Tip: You can add multiple users at once by clicking the orange button.

Finally, click the green "Add User(s)" button at the bottom right of the pop-up window.

5. Invitation emails

The user(s) will receive an email from OLI directing them to verify their account by clicking the “Verify Email” button. 

If users do not see this email within a few minutes of adding them, please have them check their spam folders. If they cannot find the email in spam, please have each user submit a ticket to OLI Support, and we will assist in finalizing account verification.

Conclusion

By following these steps, you can easily add new users within your organization’s Named User model to use the OLI software. This process gives you full control over user permissions and ensures that each team member has the right level of access to OLI software. As your team’s needs change, you can quickly adjust roles or permissions to keep everything up to date.
