Objective
Version 12.7 of OLI Studio introduces the new Excel Import/Export feature. This feature enables users to transfer OLI modeling inputs and results to and from Microsoft Excel files.
Template Documents
OLI Studio can read data from an Excel file in a specific format. Attached, please find example Excel files which you can reference as templates for your own use-case, along with the corresponding OLI Studio files from which each template was generated.
OLI Studio: Stream Analyzer Files
- "OLI Studio Stream Analyzer Examples.oad"
- "OLI Studio Stream Analyzer Examples.xlsx"
OLI Studio: ScaleChem Files
- "Corvara Auto Upload.oad"
- "Corvara_autoupload_all_phases.xlsx"
Create Your Own Template
To determine specific naming conventions, label requirements, or data structures for applications not included in this article, we recommend creating example Streams, Analysis objects, or calculations in OLI Studio and exporting the data to an Excel file:
- Create an OLI Studio file with any combination of the following objects:
- Stream (with or without Pseudocomponents)
- Water Analysis
- Measured pH, Alkalinity, Total Inorganic Carbon (TIC), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Density, Specific Electrical Conductivity
- Reconciliation Calculations
- Single Point Calculations and Results
- Isothermal, Set pH, Bubble Point, Dew Point, Vapor Amount, Vapor Fraction, Isochoric, Precipitation Point, Composition Point, Reconcile Alkalinity
- Brine Analysis
- Gas Analysis
- Oil Analysis (with or without Pseudocomponents)
- Export the OLI Studio objects to an Excel file
- In the software, navigate to the Menu Bar > File > Export > Excel File
- Save the Excel file to your machine.
