OLI Training through our On-Demand Online Courses – Client FAQ

What are the OLI on-demand online courses?

The OLI online courses are hosted on our new on-demand training platform, replacing public live courses. The Learning Management System (LMS) platform provides structured, self-paced training for OLI products, available anytime and anywhere. Courses are designed to improve the learning experience, reduce onboarding time, and give customers flexibility.

Bronze: 

  • Introduction modules
  • Foundations courses may be purchased for $500 per student

Silver: 

  • Introduction modules
  • Foundations courses for the products that are licensed 
  • Foundations courses for other products may be purchased for $500 per student

Who can access the on-demand online courses?

Only clients with an active OLI license may access the on-demand online courses. Users must also be designated as “OLI Trainee” in the OLI App Manager. There is no limit to the number of users who can access OLI Training.

Accessing training

  • If you do not have an OLI portal account already, register here. If you already have an OLI portal login proceed to the next step.
  • Once your login has been created, navigate to our training website: https://training.olisystems.com/
  • Login using your OLI portal login which you have already created.
  • Once logged in, click “My Dashboard” at the top of the screen to see trainings available. Once you finish the foundation courses you will automatically be given access to the full trainings for Stream Analyzer, Corrosion Analyzer, ScaleChem, and Flowsheet: ESP.

How do customers sign up?

When clients license OLI Software, they designate an administrator to manage software access, also known as the Client Admin. The Client Admin will have the ability to designate users as “OLI Trainee” through OLI’s App Manager. Specific instructions follow, depending on the Client Admin’s experience with App Manager:

Familiar with OLI AppManager:
(These are typically clients with Named User licensing.) 

When you log into AppManager, you’ll see the newly available “OLI Trainee,” role. Simply add this role to any user in your system.

New to OLI AppManager:
(These are typically clients with Network licensing.)

  1. Sign up for your OLI account – head to https://signup.olisystems.com and register using your email address and the Server Serial Number associated with your most recent license. 
  2. Invite a Training User – Add your team members to AppManager 
  3. Assign Training to a User – Assign the "OLI Trainee” role to your users

How do I add users for my company?

How many users can access the training?

Every user on an active OLI contract can access the OLI Training website.

How do users access the training once they’re set up as an OLI Trainee?

Users can go to the OLI Training website, and log in with their email address and the same password they use to access the software. 

What if I’m a user that needs setup as an OLI Trainee?

Contact your company’s OLI Client Administrator. If you don’t know who that is, submit a ticket to the Support Team at support.olisystems.com. The team will respond within one business day.

What if access isn’t working?

Submit a ticket to the Support Team at support.olisystems.com. The team will respond within one business day.

What if I want training access without an active license?

An active OLI license is required for access to the training courses.

Does OLI monitor training completion?

Yes, the training platform provides real-time analytics on enrollment and completion. 

Does OLI issue certificates for course completion?

Yes, certificates of completion are automatically generated once a student has successfully completed a Foundations course. 

When should I use the on-demand online courses vs. the Support Center?

On-demand online courses: Structured training, certifications, onboarding, and in-depth learning.
Support Center: Quick answers, troubleshooting, how-to articles, and FAQs (publicly available).
