Introduction to the OLI Engine in Aspen HYSYS for First-Time Users

Objective:

This article describes how to use the OLI Engine in Aspen HYSYS and demonstrates how to perform a simple calculation. In this example, a sub-saturated sodium chloride solution is mixed with a pure methanol stream. We will observe how the solubility of sodium chloride changes in the presence of methanol.
