Analyzers 3.0, Engine Products 8.2 and later.

Overview OLI Changed the installation program with version Analyzer 3.0 and Engine 8.2 and this allows us more installation options. Installing a Network Client version of the OLI software This video tutorial shows you how to install the OLI software when used with a network installation. The OLI Analyzers is used as an example but a short section of testing an alliance product is also shown. Validating the installaton file With slow internet connections and lengthy distances the downloaded file may become corrupt. When this happens the internal digital signature may become corrupt. We can test for this via the following procedure: After downloading the file, locate it on your computer. Here it is located in the default FireFox download area. For our example this file is for ESP 8.2.2 but it could be for any OLI product.
Right-click the file and select properties
From the tabs at the top of the page, click on Digital Signatures
If the file is intact, you will see the digital signature for the OLI product. IF the file is corrupted then this information will not be available.
Occasionally the installation will fail to properly install. When this happens we can run a diagnostic test. We are using Analyzers 3.1.1 as an example, see below for the actual command lines: The user will need to
This will create a text file named "fail.txt" in the same folder as the EXE file. Please send this file to OLI for Analysis. Command Lines for each product:
